G. David Adamson, MD is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist and surgeon in private practice in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Adamson received his MD degree from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada and his reproductive endocrinology fellowship training at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California.

Dr. Adamson is a Clinical Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine, and Director of the Fertility and Reproductive Health Institute of Northern California. He is a nationally recognized expert on endometriosis, reproductive surgery, medical use of lasers, and infertility. Dr. Adamson has published and presented lectures extensively in these areas, both nationally and internationally, and edited the textbook, Endoscopic Management of Gynecologic Disease.

Dr. Adamson is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Adamson is also a charter member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, Past-chair of the Research Committee of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, and founding President of the Bay Area Reproductive Endocrinologists Society. . He is Past Chair of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and on the Executive of National RESOLVE. He is a member of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical Society and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. Dr. Adamson holds leadership positions in several other local and national organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the Pacific Coast Fertility Society.

He has performed over 3,000 laparoscopic surgical procedures over the last 20 years.
