Research, Presentations, Publications, Teaching experience and other information in complete text of Dr. Davis' C.V.

Dr. Davis is a board certified gynecologist who specializes in endoscopic surgery, particularly difficult cases endometriosis. Dr. Davis has treated more than two thousand patients of all ages with all stages of endometriosis. He specializes in difficult to treat or advanced cases. Dr. Davis routinely removes endometriosis from the bowel, ovaries, bladder, and other hard-to-treat sites.

Dr. Davis is an internationally recognized surgeon and lecturer who has published authoritative papers in several areas of endometriosis management, including the treatment of extensive (stage iii and iv) disease. Dr. Davis believes that even severe endometriosis can be cured with conservative treatment by laparoscopy without removal of the ovaries.

He has also treated and published the results of a large series of adolescent patients with endometriosis who were successfully treated conservatively with laparoscopy. These patients usually have less extensive disease but some had severe endometriosis.

Laparoscopically assisted hysterectomy is another area of Dr.Davis’ expertise.

He has published a large series of patients with advanced endometriosis that were cured by this procedure. This technique is also curative for many other uterine diseases including adenomyosis, fibroids and early uterine cancer.

Dr. Davis also treats urinary incontinence with laparoscopy. His results have been published in the Journal of the AAGL. His burch procedure is very effective for stress incontinence. Dr. Davis believes the laparoscopic route should be used for almost every patient with stress incontinence who requires surgical correction.

Dr. Davis has practiced in Phoenix for almost twenty years.
